Description

This pocket knife with sheath comes with a woven leather sheath, laced along the edge, to carry the folder in. The knife has a 3-inch D2 steel blade with a polished finish, a pointed, slightly upswept tip and three holes through the blade near the spine.

The bolsters are brass, engraved with a scrolling floral pattern, and the spine between the handle sides has a decorative patterned finish. A cream bone handle sits between them, held with pins and a small inlaid pin detail near the tail. The handle is 4.5 inches long and the knife measures 7.5 inches overall, so it works as a folding pocket knife for opening packages, cutting cord or slicing food on a picnic.

D2 is a high-chromium tool steel, so wipe the blade dry and add a light coat of oil now and then. Bone varies in tone and grain from piece to piece, which means each handle looks a little different. It is a good fit if you want a mens pocket knife with engraved detail rather than a plain handle. It is handmade by Unique Blades Runner, new and sharp.
