This Jurassic World Chris Pratt knife is a handmade replica of the fixed blade carried by Owen Grady, the raptor trainer Pratt plays in Jurassic World (2015) and its sequels. It measures 12 inches overall, with a 7-inch D2 tool steel blade and a 5-inch Micarta handle, and it arrives sharp in an original leather sheath.
Owen Grady is a working man among the dinosaurs, and his gear reflects it: a practical vest, a sturdy belt and a no-frills fixed blade. For the 2015 film, the knife was a custom piece by Kentucky bladesmith Steve Auvenshine, and Owen wears it scout-style, riding horizontally at the back of his belt in a leather sheath.
A very similar knife appears again in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), keeping the look consistent as Owen heads back into dinosaur country. Its compact, purposeful shape fits a character who spends his days handling Blue and the rest of the raptor pack.
This replica follows that straightforward field-knife profile. It is handmade and is not produced by Steve Auvenshine.
The 7-inch blade is D2 tool steel, a high-carbon, high-chromium steel that holds a keen edge and resists stains better than plain carbon steel. It is not fully stainless, so wipe it dry after handling and add a light coat of oil from time to time.
The 5-inch handle is Micarta, a layered composite that stays grippy, handles moisture well and needs almost no upkeep, which suits a knife built for outdoor character.
Each piece is made by hand, so small differences in finish are part of its character. The fitted leather sheath protects the edge for storage or display.
