Description
Every blade in this wood handle knife set carries an etched pattern of flowing stripes and spots from spine to edge, set off by polished steel bolsters and warm red-brown wood handles. Handmade by Unique Blades Runner from 440C steel, it is a 5 piece knife set built around a cleaver, three chef knives and a small curved knife.
Five shapes, one look
Blades run from 9 inches down to 4 inches, and overall lengths from 15 inches to 10 inches. The cleaver leads the set with a tall, squared blade for chopping vegetables and portioning meat. Behind it, a full-size chef knife covers chopping and dicing, a chef knife with an angled tip handles slicing and fine cuts, and a mid-size chef knife takes on smaller daily prep. The small curved knife finishes the group, its upswept tip suited to trimming and detail work. If you have been looking for a knife set with cleaver and matching handles, this one keeps all five pieces in the same style.
