Red, white and blue panels with a lone star pin turn the grip of this Texas flag skinner knife into the state flag itself. The blue section near the butt carries the star, while the white and red sections run side by side toward the blade, just as they do on the flag.
Beneath the colors is a 4-inch Damascus steel blade with a flowing, layered pattern formed by forge-welding steels together. Its curved belly and lowered tip follow a traditional skinner shape, and the knife measures 8 inches overall with a 4-inch handle, a compact size for a fixed blade skinning knife carried on the belt.
A polished metal bolster with two pins sits between blade and grip, and a few more pins hold the colored wood panels in place. The handmade skinning knife arrives new and sharp, and it suits hunting season, camp tasks or a Texas-themed knife collection.
As a skinning knife with sheath, it comes with its original leather sheath, tooled with a fan pattern and finished with double stitching and a belt loop. Find more in our skinning knives collection.
