What is a Bowie knife blank?

A Bowie knife blank is a blade already cut to a Bowie profile but not yet finished as a knife. You add the handle, guard and any final grinding, polishing or sharpening yourself, which lets you build a custom Bowie without shaping it from raw bar stock.

What size are the Bowie blanks in this collection?

Each blank in the 50-piece Damascus lot measures 12 inches overall, with a 7-inch blade and a 5-inch handle section. All 50 pieces share the same Bowie layout, which helps when you're making matching handles in batches.

Are the blanks heat treated and sharpened?
