Description

Bold copper flames climb through the steel on this Damascus copper Bowie knife, and a copper guard and spacer pick up the same color at the handle. It is 18 inches overall, with a 12-inch blade and a 6-inch handle.

The blade is copper Damascus steel, layers of copper and steel that etch into a high-contrast pattern. As with other Damascus, dry the blade after use and give it a light coat of oil.

The wood handle has flat sides, an angled butt and a row of pins along its length. The copper guard sweeps out in a curved S shape. Wood grain differs from one knife to the next, so the handle will not match the photo exactly.

A big 12 inch Bowie knife like this suits camp use and collectors of copper Damascus knives. It comes as a Bowie knife with leather sheath, in tan tooled leather with a black inlay panel, yellow stitching, a snap strap and a belt loop.
