hunter-knife-destiny-2
Hunter Knife Destiny 2 Replica, 12-Inch Blade With Leather Sheath

This handmade hunter knife Destiny 2 replica is modeled on the blade every Hunter Guardian carries. It has a broad black blade, the Hunter class emblem near the spine and a leather-wrapped grip. It measures 18 inches overall with a 12-inch high carbon steel blade, arrives sharp, and comes with a fitted black leather sheath.

The Hunter's Knife in Destiny

In Bungie's series, the Hunter Knife is the class's all-purpose blade. Hunters draw it for close-range melee, and in the Solar Gunslinger subclass it doubles as a throwing knife. The class insignia is marked on the in-game blade, so this replica carries the emblem in the same spot. The knife has been part of the Hunter look since the original Destiny and carried into Destiny 2. That's why Guardians who main the class recognize it straight away.

Blade, Emblem and Grip

The blade has a deep black finish broken up by a large round cutout, an open slot through its center and a small hole near the tip. Together these give the cutaway, sci-fi look that sets this Destiny hunters knife apart from an ordinary hunting blade. The edge runs straight from the handle, then sweeps up into a full curved belly before meeting the point. The Hunter emblem is set in a light metallic tone, so it stands out clearly against the dark steel.

The 6-inch handle is wrapped tightly in brown leather, which gives a secure, textured grip and a worn, field-used look that suits the class. It ends in an open ring pommel, a detail that makes the knife easy to hang and adds to its outline when it's out of the sheath.

Living With High Carbon Steel

High carbon steel takes a keen edge and is easy to bring back with a stone or strop. It does need a little care: wipe the blade dry after handling, give it a thin coat of oil now and then, and store it outside the leather sheath for long periods so moisture isn't trapped against the steel.

If you're building a set of game pieces, browse our gaming knife replicas, or see the full range of collectible knives for more handmade replicas.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0694/3109/9570/files/Destiny_2_hunter_knife_replica_with_black_blade_round_cutout_and_Hunter_class_emblem.jpg?v=1793399948
