blood-diamond-knife-walking-dead
Blood Diamond Knife Walking Dead Replica – Daryl Dixon D2 Steel Knife

This Blood Diamond knife from The Walking Dead is a handmade replica of the distinctive fixed blade Daryl Dixon carries from season 5 of AMC's series. It measures 13 inches overall, with an 8-inch D2 tool steel blade and a 5-inch stainless steel handle, and it arrives sharp in an original leather sheath.

Daryl Dixon's Season 5 Knife

Norman Reedus's Daryl went through several blades over the show's long run, but the Blood Diamond is the one fans single out by name. It turns up in his hands from season 5 onward, the stretch that follows the group's escape from Terminus, and its diamond motif is where the nickname comes from. The look is rough and practical, the kind of knife that suits a character who lives off what he can hunt and carry.

Because the design is so unlike a standard Bowie or hunting knife, it is easy to recognize in any Walking Dead display. This replica keeps that unusual outline as its centerpiece.

D2 Blade and All-Steel Handle

The 8-inch blade is D2 tool steel, a high-carbon, high-chromium steel known for holding an edge well and resisting stains better than plain carbon steel. It is not fully stainless, so wipe it dry after handling and give it a light coat of oil now and then, especially before long storage.

The 5-inch handle is stainless steel, which gives the knife a solid, all-metal feel and needs nothing more than a wipe with a clean cloth. Together with the blade, it gives the piece a weighty, purposeful balance in hand.

Each knife is made by hand, so small differences in finish are part of its character. The fitted leather sheath protects the edge and keeps the replica ready to store or display.

For more blades from the series, see the Negan Bowie knife, or browse our full range of movie replica knives.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0694/3109/9570/files/Handmade_Walking_Dead_Blood_Diamond_knife_replica_with_D2_tool_steel_blade_and_steel_handle.png?v=1792871368
